Licensed Acupuncturist
Over 40 Years of Experience
Engaged in Continuous Training
In addition to being a Board Certified Acupuncturist, Rosalie Baker Lambeth of Rosalie Baker Lambeth and Associates LLC is a certified registered nurse anesthetist with over 40 years of experience in highly specialized operating room and critical care settings.
Well known for her long-standing activities in health care and related legislative issues, she has served on district, state, and national boards and committees and has lectured extensively throughout the United States on numerous health care topics.
Ms. Lambeth brings a deep understanding of and respect for the Western health care system. She has pursued post-graduate education in Traditional Acupuncture as a means of expanding the Hippocratic notion that it is more important to treat the person with the disease than to simply treat the disease itself.
With a deep love of nature, Ms. Lambeth understands the power of the body's intrinsic ability to heal and return itself to homeostasis, or a place of balance.
She is also a practitioner and teacher of Qigong , a Chinese healing art similar to t'ai chi that involves a series of movements designed to cultivate the balance and movement of Qi in the body, encouraging it to flow smoothly and restoratively.
Your first Acupuncture session will take two hours and includes an extensive history and diagnostic examination. Subsequent treatments last about an hour. While many conditions can respond rapidly to treatment, some that have developed over a lengthy period of time may require a slow and steady course of progress. Treatment on a weekly basis is ideal for the initial 6-8 visits and is then adjusted to intervals appropriate to the level and severity of your health care concerns. Documentation for services can be provided upon request.
